Buddy.....You're In The Wrong Line Of Work!!

This guy needs a carreer change.

Name: Scott Blevins
Nickname: Lionheart
Occupation: MMA Fighter
Record: 0-13
Other Details: All losses in round 1. Via (T)KO and submission.

Quick clip of interview....

Yes, Blevins's fights generally end badly. The first time I heard about him, I had to know two things: 1) Was this some kind of joke? 2) If it wasn't, why keep doing it? When I finally tracked Scott down, a few days after his most recent loss to Chico Camus at an Evolution Fighting Championship event in Wisconsin earlier this month, he was on the way to the hospital, due to a mysterious ailment that had laid him out. But he took the time to explain that despite the losses, despite the haters, despite a family that thinks he's crazy, this shit is the furthest thing from a joke. As for why he keeps doing it, well, you'll have to keep reading. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...LionHeart.

ooook, i'm all for the keep on doin whatcha doin thing, but this guy is talking about trying to be a champion and how even guys like shonie and serra have had losses, yes they lost, but they actually win fights too buddy. I don't really care for someone calling themselves a pro when they have not won a single fight.

IronMan 02-25-2009 05:51 PM

Wow, this guy is in my weight class. If he wants to come back down to 125 and fight, I'd love that!

What's funniest to me is that this guy owns his own academy. Why?

Go train with someone, because he's clearly not that gifted as a fighter.

Lotus 02-25-2009 05:58 PM

yeah i really kinda cringed when he said he runs his own school.

_RIVAL_ 02-25-2009 09:20 PM

He has alot of experience. 2009 may be his breakthrough year.

At this point if he beats someone, should the person he beats retire from MMA?

mmawrestler 02-25-2009 10:20 PM

You sure you're not thinking of the Ho Bag?

He's 0-10 with 10 first round submissions. None of the listed fights have gone past the 1:29 mark. At least this guy had one go past the 2:00 mark.
