Admit it MMA fans!

On their best day their is no one better p4p than GSP. His wresling, striking and BJJ is on another level higher then most people in the world right now, not just MMA. He shows better technique and dominance than anybody when he's on, including Fedor and Anderson.

Thiago Alves is a dangerous fighter, but at the end of the day I still don't see him beating GSP. Not even close.

GSP is gonna out-work Alves and use his well rounded skills to transition from ground to strikes and eventually finish Alves with anything he wants.

GSP = p4p best without argument.

Well lets compare GSP to Fedor p4p. Since people call Fedor the p4p best just because of his record.

Fedors wrestling doesn't even compare to GSP p4p.

Fedors strikes, although powerful don't show nearly as much skill and technique as GSP. I mean when is the last time Fedor threw a switch kick or a spinning backfist or superman punch?

GSP's BJJ vs Fedors Sambo. Well i just look at it as overall ground game. GSP has submitted guys like Hughes and Trigg with little effort, Fedor has tapped some great guys too but nobody that compares to Trigg or Hughes p4p.

Fedor might be tougher, and have a better chin. But p4p skill wise GSP blows him away..

There are a lot of people underestimating Thiago. I think without the Serra defeat then you would have to probably say GSP is the best. But it did happen. And if I'm looking at dangerous opponents I would rank Thiago waaaay higher then Serra. Plus its gonna be a lot harder to push a big guy around.

So we shall see...

Thiago is obviously the most dangerous person to GSP's title to date. This being said Thiago has never fought someone as great as GSP, much less beaten someone on GSP's stature. If Alves wins this fight it would be a major win for him, a lifechanging win and a big upset imo.

I know what you're saying but who in your opinion could Thiago actually beat (without moving up a division) that is of the stature of GSP?

I mean he brutalised Matt Hughes with the extra lbs behind that knee. He's schooled top contenders like Kos and Karo. Obviously the L to Fitch hurts him. What I'm saying is I wouldn't be surprised if TA dropped GSP in July. I just hope the dude makes weight. I'm more excited for this then the main event.

I agree with GSP being the best p4p but these are terrible arguments. The only legitimate point you have is about GSPs wrasslin.

First of all pal, fedor can't measure up to gsp's wrestling how do you figure that? Fedors sambo is a solid and could almost measure up to gsp's wrestling but also then on top you have his judo which gives him the edge. Fedor's striking is far more powerful yes and he has proven against Arlovski that technique isn't going to win you the fight. Also since when did a superman punch or spinning back fist show good technique? I'm sure you don't even beleive that they are efficient forms of striking.

Now onto your claims on gsp's bjj being a trouble for fedor if you can remember fedor beat nogueira twice and big nog has alot more dangerous bjj than gsp. And then on top you have already admitted that fedor is tougher and has a better chin so I know who is my top p4p fighter and it will never be gsp.

Also dont red me i know people on here love gsp but please just argue your points as I will be interested in hearing them.

Favourite Fighters:

1) Nick Diaz
2) Fedor Emelianenko
3) Chuck Liddell
4) Forrest Griffin
5) Tyson Griffin
