Doug Marshall

Should the UFC pick up Doug the rhino Marshall? I like how he brings it, even if he is reckless. Think of the good matchups though. What do you think?

For some reason....I like Doug Marshall. He wasn't known for being a wellspring of MMA skill, but he always comes to fight. I'd like to see how he'd do in the UFC.

Yeah I know he aint champion material but hes a good muaythai brawler and championship fights have not been so great as of late, id rather see a houston alexander vs marshall or something crazy like that thrown in the mix, then seeing some ultimate fighters from the show who suck.

He wouldn't make an impact IMO, but he'd get in peoples faces and try to brawl. That's always fun to watch.

I agree 100%. I would assume that it is better to have guys with name recognition, and possibly a fanbase in the UFC than to have a host of new names all the time. However, Doug probably costs a little more than the newbies do when it gets down to payments. Houston vs. Rhino is a great idea. James Irvin is another one that might make for a good fight. Or even a re-match with Stann.
