Question MMA-style Kungfu in China, 1900.

Here are some photographs shot in 1900, illustrating a fighting technic called "Qin Na" (twisting of joints), which had been banned in any fighting competition for tens of years until MMA arrived in China.
I am just surprised to find that many of them are showing virtually what BJJ does today.

I once showed my father some MMA videos on Youtube, and he said he had seen this style of fight when he was young. I thougt he was only bragging, but maybe I was wrong.

There's a karate-practitioner who's 12-1 in MMA and he uses the praying mantis style(a kung-fu substyle) which is pretty cool.

Really? It would be interesting, for I never thought kung-fu of this type was of any use even though I am a Chinese fan.
I cannot catch up what happene in the MMA world, cause there's no MMA live on TV here. In fact, I know very little about recent MMA...

I doubt there's a single technique or principle that BJJ teaches which Judo doesn't.
