Grizzly, thanks. I don't dislike GSP and have never had lowly perspective of him despite a buddy of mine (who knows the dude) constantly suggesting that he acts like he's on the tv show "Entourage" when he's not selling his 'umble act.
Man-diva or not, he's a great fighter, perhaps the greatest WW for the next few decades. This thread, though referencing GSP in particular, was not about him as much as it was about certain attitudes that are unbecoming of great champions.
If Anderson calls out GSP and gets tapped out in a minute, what do you think that would do for his legacy? Or if GSP calls out Silva and gets knocked out senseless in the first 20 seconds, won't he have abused his own reputation?
Fighters aren't match makers and when they make matches and lose it looks twice as bad.
