Secondly, if Malkin can sneak away from the Russian Elite Leagues to join the NHL, Fedor can make his own decision without fear. Afterall, when they leave they get paid, and when they come back, they have plenty of business opportunities waiting for them. And they always go back....unless your Pavel Bure and you retire while still scoring 50 goals a year, post up in Miami with strong connections to a Russian mob boss (aka his spiritual leader), and somehow manage to become the general manager of the Russian olympic hockey team.
