Well you have to understand that of all things, the UFC is a business and to stay at the top of the promotional food chain they have to create fights that have a lot of potential hype. Now sometimes they go a bit to far in bending the truth IMO, with the whole Shane Carwin all knockouts thing, bit that created a lot of hype around Carwin and now UFC 116 is as big as it is.

Whether or not it is the hype or not, I do believe that the UFC is the best promotion in the world and I am reluctant to give credit to many fighter outside of the UFC. Ever since Fedor came to Affliction and Strikeforce, he has not put on impressive performances against 2 heaveweights that are not near the top 10. So, if he is still great and the best in the world he needs to prove it. I know he doesn't have to prove anything to me so I don't even care about Fedor anymore. I won't even count the fight with Sylvia because everyone has a good performance against him... call me Ray Mercer.

The UFC is making other organizations crumble. I believe that in the end that it will be only the UFC and the WEC. Maybe Bellator will survive because it is unique, but Strikeforce certainly will not survive, and all the other organizations that are mirrors of the UFC will not survive.

Fedor is NOT the best heavyweight in the world, he is not on my top 5 P4P list anymore because he is not who he used to be. He is not the same Fedor, and he is going to retire soon without ever having fought in the UFC.
