How idiotic of a thread. Instant PHEIL.

Tyson in boxing in less that 2 minutes and if given a good year worth of training in he would win the MMA fight too. Mike was athletic, explosive, hungry, and smart enough to pick up everything in training and use it in training. He would wreck Carwin given such training.

Jack Johnson: Boxing's greatest Heavyweight champion.

Or he'd be thrown down and pounded into submission. I'll go with, since that conclusion was actually drawn by common sense.

Right and in a boxing match, Carwin would land his trademark straight right and that would be all she wrote.

See, I can speak nonsense too.

If Carwin - or any MMA heavy - got past the first punch and got to a clinch, Tyson would be on his back and would look about as stupid as Carwin would against Tyson in a boxing match. Tyson would never be able to hang on the mat with any of those guys, they're too big and have been wresting/grappling their entire lives.
It really comes down to one brief moment, imo, and that's the first exchange. If the boxer doesn't get the 1-2 ko and can't avoid a clinch, he's toast.

I fixed that for you. The odds of that happening are seriously as high as Carwin landing one big shot on Tyson in a boxing match...maybe lower, as Tyson isn't known for having a great chin.

This is a joke. Carwin wouldn't even win an MMA match. He's unbelievably slow compared to Tyson. He'd try to close the distance and he'd get put on his ass instantly.
