That's what people tend to do when a fighter loses, they jump the bandwagon. The majority of the people on this site loved Franklin and when he lost to Anderson, everyone started hating Rich or making excuses.

i hate matt hughes but like franklin but it pissed me off when everone was writing them off as if they were nobodys they are the sort off fighters that will get the title back most get it once but they could do it,i guess we will just hav to wait and see.
1. I think there's much better chance Hughes will be retired by the end of the year, let alone hold the title again. Hughes time has passed and the new generation (GSP) have moved in, and will be staying for quite some time.
i've noticed the bandwagon jumper off-ers too. haha. but really, hughes still is the best ww champ ever, even though he lost. i dont know alot of guys who win as much and as consistently as he did. as for rich, people are just assholes. they suck off a fighter for a few months or years and then act like they never liked the fighter when they lose. rich is still great, he just got beat. he'll be back
