I think the UFC will continue to grow as long as MMA continues to grow. And since there hasn't been one dominate style that completely counters every other style out there, I think the talent will continue to grow in all areas and thus, making the UFC grow.
Jon Jones is a prime example of the growth of MMA, because out of no where the most amazing fighter can just appear.

basically what i meant is that avalanches start incredibly slow before getting out of control. we're on that cusp of when it starts to pick up speed that can't necessarily be braked. . . .. .. .of awesome.

But you're right. The more the interest in mma grows, the more the top league will grow.

So far, Applebee's is the only establishment in my town that shows PPVs. We don't have Buffalo Wild Wings (I will NOT call it BW3. There are TWO W's in the business name, why the hell do people do that? It's like saying "nuke-you-ler"!!) or Hooters or anything like that.
Other bars in this area, to date, will not show UFC events, because, in their astoundingly wise words, "It makes people want to fight." Because drunk people NEVER want to fight anyway!!
Also, at Applebee's, it's impossible to get drunk on their extremely watered down cocktails, and if you drink beer, you'll run out of money long before you get drunk enough to want to fight a fool or two.

Sound advice Come to portland, get some Jojos, watch UFC at BW3 (Heh) Hooters, or any number of bars here that show it. Portland is a great MMA city.

We just got the first bar in town to start watching UFC events, their first one is 118 this weekend. I can't wait, I'm planning on getting ridiculous even though I have work at 5am the next day.
