Is the UFC still growing?

I'm just curious about UFC and MMA in general. Is it still growing and attracting a larger audience or is profit shrinking and less people are finding it intressting and fun to watch?

Maby someone has some official statistic or else just personal experience from their neighbourhood/friends.

Here where I live, there seems to be more popular than ever to train some sort of fighting even tho few do MMA.

All of my friends know what UFC is, and usually people I only just met (tho there are many exceptions to this) know as well. A few years ago noone knew what UFC was. Today a lot of people seems to know at least something! So I must say I think UFC has been quite sucessful spreading MMA to Sweden. But this is just my personal interpretation, I could be wrong... How is the situation where you are living?

The UFC's dark period is over and it has done nothing but grow in leaps and bounds since then. As it spreads further and further across the globe you can expect the UFC to simply tighten it's grip on MMA.

As for personal experience... I remember watching UFC 1 alone because none of my friends at the time cared about it. Now every PPV house fills up and we sit back, smoke something and watch the fights. Hell, even my wife watches and enjoys MMA. Big difference.

Personal Top Five

1. Brock Lesnar
2. Roy Nelson (KFP BAYBEE)
3. Clay Guida
4. Dan Henderson
5. Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović

Thanks for both replies. I want the UFC to grow and become somthing really big (like my p*nis).

This confirms what I thought then. That UFC is gaining more and more ground and men are tierd of watching people chase balls.

Cool

UFC has all the best fighters (except one, Fedor) and they are still growing and signing new prospects!

3 of their top 4 pay per view records were set in 2010. I'm pretty sure the UFC is raking in cash like a cow and growing fast.
