Fighters in bad shape!
I have to say, im sick of seeing any fighter in terrible shape. This is their job, there is no reason to look like shit. Liddell which i like a lot as a fighter should be ripped. Leben is in god awful shape, these fighters give a bad representation of the sport. These guys should be machines, maybe their not training hard enough or dieting right, i dont know but i hate looking at Tim Sylvia stomachs!!

Truth be told in that fight I thought both GSP and MH were smaller than they should have been. But, if I remember right, both of them agreed to fight even though GSP couldn't make the weight, in their first matchup that is.
If you go back and look at their first match, both of them look more built then the second time they met. The second fight, they both were slimmed down, and actually looked like they were what they weighed in at.

I don't get it, these men fight and train for most of the year and yet some of them are in bad shape. If you dedicate your life to fighting and TRAINING (including eating fight and staying FIT) then why would they be in bad shape? Genetics/metabolism isn't an excuse as anyone who works out hard and eats right could have a good physique or at least a decent one..

Cardio and strength is the most important, just look at Fedor. You don't need to be ripped or muscle bound but you do need to be fit and that takes conditioning which means discipline, which alot of these guys just don't have...they just want to fight, forgetting about cardio and conditioning and then wonder why they are gassing in the second round of a fight.

Yeah it pisses me off, because i know if i had the oppurtunity they had, i would be busting my balls to never gas and to be as strong as possible.

MC19 if you know Conditioning and Cardio is more important than being rippped, then why did you start this thread. Especially naming Lidell. Your doubletalking a bit.

Honestly, this is kind of going into another thread, however i usually judge like most on the body shape of a fighter. And i havn't seen to many with the exception of a few who look like their in terrible shape but have good cardio and strength. So i think that they should look like their in good condition by dieting right as well.
