UFC 121 is the end of ..... SPOILERS

Tito Ortiz
Gabriel Gonzaga
Gilbert Yvel

I seriously dont see any of them fighting in the UFC ever again.

Tito did not even look to be in that fight, I did not think he was there in his last fight with Forest ether, I can't see how he can possibility give any more competitive fights at this level.

Gonzaga, I am quite sad about the way his fight turned out, he somehow reminded me of watching the fall of CroCop, he just looked like a one trick donkey looking for the one KO shot that he was never going to land, and teh worse thing about it is that I dont think he had the skill or will to even try to mix it up and try to evolve his game plan, he was slow and predictable and I really dont see him getting any better, I like Gonzaga but he is lacking something to be worthy of even a UFC gate post position.

Yvel, What can you say, enough is enough he has done nothing but disappoint in the UFC, I expected better from him but it was not to be, he is obviously not going anywhere in that division.

All true, they all should be gone. However, I think that the UFC is gonna keep Gabe Gonzaga for one last fight, and probably Ortiz for one more too. Yvel's definitely gone.

vBookie Record: 16-9

I think Gonzaga will get one or two more fights. Gonzaga/Kongo, loser gets cut, winner gets to be the official getekeeper for the heavyweight division.

Yvel just doesn't have any business in the UFC at this point of his career and he should be happy he got three fights already.

Gonzaga might get one more fight at some Fight Night undercard. The weird thing with him is that it always seems to me like his problem is some sort of mental block rather than being over the hill physically. Maybe a sports psychiatrist could do wonders for him.

I don't think Kongo is that close to being cut right now.

Tito is in a different situation, he's not in the UFC because anyone thinks he's going to be a title contender anymore, but because of his star status. He might get the Wandy treatment i.e. him staying or getting cut won't have as much to do with his wins as with how many PPVs he will sell. When they figure he isn't a draw anymore, he'll get cut.

Problem is tho he is so slow at cosing the distance, when he shoots for a TD he does not even get close because you can see it coming a mile away and have an eternity to get out of the way, so therefore he has no way of implementing the BJJ skill that he must possess into a MMA fights, he is just lacking that extra something right now to be able to make the transition, and any fighter that does not have the agility to avoid his TD or power shots for that matter has no place in the UFC, imo if he was given a GK role then the bar would be way to low.

correct me if im wrong but i swear i saw gonzaga vs werdum and took him down a few times and used some of his jitz even though it was against another jitz wizard in werdum, he's really slow too i might add, you can tell the HW quality between gonzaga fighting for the title back a while back to now him on the verge of being cut

Exactly. He's a submission fighter who tries to fight like a striker and it's not working out. Maybe that one high kick KO of Mirco made him think that striking was his strength?

in many ways hes like sherk, tries to box but he has a way better ground game that he uses very little, except sherk uses his wrestling decently but not all the time
