The Bear just dominated everything though. The Lion/Tiger might be able to bite, but they're just not strong enough to be able to attack the Bear's throat, and the Bear would just crush the Lion/Tiger's skull every time. Pretty mental stuff.

That's not entirely true. Most of the time, the bears were given an unfair advantage and the fights were fixed in the bear's favor because bears were so financially valuable and rare at the time.
Besides, you could just teach a monkey BJJ and that would neutralize the bear's size via leverage!

Why change the winning team?
The show is great, it has enough fighter background coverage and prefight hype bitween fights, commentators are good, ring girls are hot and fighs are great. All it really needs is more fighters being added and bad fighters being fired, which is what ufc is doing already.
But I do agree, 30 second tiger tie breaker at the end of the fights is prolly what would get rid of the boring L&P decision wins.

The only thing that I wish that the UFC would do is give it's self a production face lift. I'm pretty sick of the dated pseudo-rock music and cheesy intro. The WEC merge is a good thing, and I can't see why anyone is bummed about more quality fighters joining the organization.

Fair play, cheers for the link, was a good read. I really shouldn't take Stephen Fry's word as gospel, but it's just so hard to disagree with the bloke, he's a genuine legend.

Too many fights go to a decision and nobody wants to take risks anymore.

They should just do less PPV events, which in itself creates better overall cards for the fans. Maybe expand free events by reaching more TV deals.

Other than that I don't see what they should do. Entrances are overrated. This isn't the WWE.

O my deary lordy gawd.

Its like saying I'm bored of footie because its the same old 22 men kicking a ball around every week, trying to score goals.

... or bored of tennis, because its the same old boring net, with two dudes always using rackets and a single ball.

... or bored of Boxing, because they dont do nuffin' other than punch each other in the face.

... or bored of Snooker because... O, wait... snooker sucks.

... or bored of Strip Bars because its always naked girlies gyrating in front of me every time I go... Instead of... ummm... buffalo??

In other words, if you find it boring, why do you bother?

And I'm exciting to watch so you will be watching and you won't be bored. All the UFC fans will be watching me. But until that time its good if the sport keeps growing some so I can make some serious cash while kicking ass.
