Is the UFC still keeping it exciting for you or does they need to spice it up?

UFC has a rutine/show that seems to be popular and still growing. New fans probably find it very exciting.

But to me, I find it a little dull with the UFC these days. Its the same stuff all over and now we are going to have to watch more divisions of small men fighting witch will totaly destroy a lot of the excitment.

I still miss the pride days with entrences worth mentioning and the days when fighters were presented as kings. UFC seems to do the entrences on low budget and the same goes with fighters salaries. Some make less than the cleaning lady.

Have you been losing some of your intrest for the UFC? Or has it progressed and became better? What should the UFC do to keep you intressted als in the future? What are the bigest wrong moves the UFC has made? Discuss!

I would love it if fighters had better entrances or if they just had an opening for every event, but by no means do I find it "dull."

Have you actually watched a WEC event? it is easily one of the most exciting MMA Orgs on the planet.

UFC has just gained alot of exciting fighters, it's going to be awesome.

Merging the WEC was a nice shot of Tabasco wouldn't you say.

Yeah, they need to spice things up a bit. I'd suggest to reduce the number of decisions, have a 30 second spell at the end of each round where a Tiger is released into the Octagon. If one of the fighters happens to lose a limb, or is hideously disfigured in some way or another, then their opponent takes the victory. It'd certainly spice things up. Thoughts?

To piggy-back on this, I believe they should go a full step further and just create an entire division for animal fighting. Imagine the stylistic matchup between a wrestling bear and a kung fu panda!! Im sure Michael Vick is in support...

I don't think it really needs any spicing up, but I think the hype needs to be brought down. Once in a great while a fight lives up to the hype, but most time it is impossible for it to.

That'd be epic, but the Bear's would just destroy everything else. I remember on Qi (An intellectual type comedy panel show on the BBC in the UK) a while a go Stephen Fry asked the question "What would win between a Lion and a Bear?" and appearently during the Gold Rush in California, as a form of entertainment they'd fly various animals (think a Bull was mentioned as one of the other animals) over to fight a Bear. The Bear just dominated everything though. The Lion/Tiger might be able to bite, but they're just not strong enough to be able to attack the Bear's throat, and the Bear would just crush the Lion/Tiger's skull every time. Pretty mental stuff.

I Loved every single UFC and WEC event this year. I couldn't call a boring event so far.

But true, the thing I would change immediately are the Entrances.. some fighters can't even walk out without getting interrupted by some of these clowns.

And an opening, like DREAM
