After reading this thread I am surprised that we actually have a forum to talk about MMA I mean if hunting so old fashioned and outdated, that same logic would mean that we have better more "civil" means of resolving conflict.

I sorta tried to make that point a while back but it went so far over their heads it's in orbit by now.

My alien friends caught a glimpse of your point as it passed them on the way to Jupiter...

Actually deer are extremely overpopulated in north America and destroy crops that farmers are growing and trying to either consume or sell. So hunting deer is actually needed in order to sustain a sufficient amount of crops.

Second, the salughter-house animals are probably suffering, and so when they're killed at least they're put out of their misery. That animals Brock killed was not in misery. It looked like it was enjoying itself.
How does this make the slaughter house any better? They had to put the animal in misery in order to take it out of its misery.

That begs the question: is or was your target AWARE of you?

If not, then "no," it doesn't require skill. We stigmatize sucker-punches for a reason. If your target is aware of you, and is actively trying to avoid your punch, then yes, that requires skill.
Right but you act as if all a hunter does is grab a gun, walk into the woods and shoot an animal. It takes much more effort than that.

I see nothing wrong with these videos. I don't know if I would ever hunt. I am not a fan of killing anything myself but the video doesn't bother me. Hunting is a part of life. Every Carnivore/Omnivore does it.

"is or was your target AWARE of you?"

Seriously, hunting is hunting. It isn't a combat sport. It isn't a fight over territory, mate selection, martial prowess... It is simply "I want to f****ng eat you and I can make it happen."
