well, that won't be a problem now that Machida has lost 2 in a row.

@Silva fanboys... Silva hasn't faced an elite level striker even at MW, Vitor will be the first one he has ever faced. If you really think he would be heavy favourite against Shogun, you are so lost.

People are idiots for thinking that someone who has had problems with wrestlers (ie: Henderson won the first round using wrestling and Chael dominated all 4 rounds utilizing his wrestling) and grapplers(ie: Travis Lutter fully mounted Silva) that he could lose to someone that is a great wrestler, follows gameplans to a T, and is a more well rounded version than the person he just got a whooping from?

I'll give you that Chael is more than likely a stronger wrestler than GSP, but the rest of his game is not near GSP's. Dan Henderson got pulled into the trap of leaving his gameplan and trying to exchange with Silva, while Chael overcommited and got caught in a triangle. GSP doesn't deter from his gameplans, and if Silva can't stop the takedown against GSP he WILL lose.

I would love to see Silva vs Shogun for the LHW title. I really think Silva could take this fight.

I'm sure Sonnen is a stronger wrestler than GSP. I mean the dude was on steroids, and that makes a big difference.I'd take my bets on Andy finding a way to finish a fight over GSP rather than GSP getting a UD against Andy. I have no reason to believe that GSP could even hope finish Andy, and to let Andy hang around in a fight for 5 rounds, the challenger WILL lose. Go ask Sonnen... Unless GSP's striking improves even more, I don't believe that his striking would overwhelm Andy to the point where it would make his gameplan to takedown Andy that effective.

no, he said he wouldn't fight machida for the lhw title but after shogunmania he wants to stay at middle weight. yes, he's scared. anderson vs shogun will make no sense after anderson loses to belfort.

Was not. He was on testosterone replacement therapy and he won the appeal. He proved that he has a medical condition and he also proved that he disclosed that condition.
