Hand-less Ex-Marine Banned From UFC
What a shame. He had potential to be a great fighter. |
Awful. One of the worst cases of discrimination of have ever seen.
Dana really needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask if he really wants to discriminate against the disabled. :D |
I have an open mind when it comes to humor. In fact, I am borderline overly immature.
That being said, I find this type of humor to be sickening. Many of our young Marines (and other members of the armed forces) have been crippled and can no longer pursue their dreams (e.g., fighting or sports). It's no laughing matter. |
LOL..
At first I was like WTF is he thinking then I watched the whole video. |

Current issues are the number one source for comedy and you can't expect people to sensor themselves because it may offend someone. Either everything is okay to make fun of or nothing is. There is no grey area in censorship. |
I, too, thought it was serious until he caved his opponent's skull in.

Making jokes about current issues is one thing... this is quite another. you're right, there is no grey area... this falls under the outright wrong. If it was just "someone with metal hands trying to fight in the UFC" fine. |
I knew something wasnt right after he ripped the speed bag lol
|
They're not making fun of crippled marines, is the point. The fact that he is in the joke doesn't mean he is being made fun of, he could just as easily have lost his hands in a logging accident or a machining accident. It's just backstory to set up the joke.
