i think it comes down to this. belfort is quick enough to move inside on silva. once this happens, it's all about flurries on silva's head cuz silva definitely won't be able to clinch belfort before belfort lands the flurry. the flurry sets up the gnp, which is the final nail in silva's coffin and probably his career.
it's silva's time to sit front row and watch a faster, more powerful, and simply meaner champion rule the ufc mw division.
Did you see the look on Vitor's face when Lidell dropped him? Complete shock and a small amount of fear was what I saw. Watch his other losses. You can see when he loses it.
I believe Belfort will get caught coming inside Anderson's reach. His hands are extremely quick but his footwork isn't and his head movement isn't great either. Getting inside on Silva is a dangerous prospect. If he clinches Vitor... it will be a short night for him. And with Andy's reach combined with his timing it will be extremely hard for Vitor to avoid that clinch.
I won't count Vitor out but I honestly just don't see him winning this matchup.
