diego has amazing cardio, but gsp, hughes, tito and a number of others have cardio just as good.

Some of things you beleive about diego...i dont get.

gsp would dominate diego. Hughes not as impressive a fighter still has the skills needed to take a decision over diego.

you over-rate sanchez hardcore

Please name me one fight in Tito's whole career where his "amazing cardio" took effect. He gassed against Chuck, he gassed against Forest....Tito's cardio is a bunch of bullshit.

No, you underrate him hardcore. Because of his personality and the fact that he was on TUF.

If you think GSP would "dominate" Diego, then it is you who is clearly overrating people. Diego may not beat him, but he surely would not get dominated.

Diego is a bad matchup for GSP, when they fight Diego is going to be more motivated than GSP ever imagined he could be, and it will pay off.

And no, GSP, Hughes, and Tito's cardio don't come close to Diego's. Diego's cardio allows him to fight at a constant pace for the whole fight, those other 3 gradually slow down and wear down by the 3rd round. Diego seems like he actually gets more energy the longer the fight goes on.

Diego has better cardio than Tito. Diego just doesn't stop, and seems to get better as the rounds go by.

That being said, I still think GSP will beat him if they fought. Diego has arguably better cardio(GSP's been able to dismantle his opponents with ease so far, so it's hard to tell. The Penn didn't show me much), but GSP has better striking, great TD defense(Come on, Hughes just didn't try to stand with GSP in their second fight), and is better at bullying people around in the octagon. Oh, and GSP is a lot stronger. I think Diego will last all 5 rounds, but I don't see him defeating St. Pierre.

That is taking nothing away from Diego, as I can see him showing the naysayers that he belongs in there by lasting 5 rounds with the champ.

What are you talking about? Seriously when has Tito's cardio ever been even close to as good as Diego's??

Diego's mouth stays closed while he fights, even in the later rounds. Tito's usually got his mouth open and hands dropping by the middle of the second round in all of his fights. I'll admit he has good cardio, better than it used to be, but it's nowhere near what Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg would have you believe. And if it is, name me one fight where it has shown to be true.
