Aussies HATE poms!!! (englishmen). i am a aussie and i can tell you we hate poms, i will be there on Sunday and can tell you if UFC110 is anything to go by Bisping will be booed out of the arena.
i mention this because i have seen him comment on it before and it bothered him. i also think crowd reaction affects scoring and no one will be cheering Bisping, but will go nuts for a glancing blow for Riviera. it will also bother Bisping
listen to the fight and see what you think but if bisping cannot finish he could get a rough decision.
P.S i hope he does because i cannot stand his head or his Pommy voice.

Bisping gets booed just the same in LAs Vegas, I think you are foolish to think this will have any impact.

The judges are professional, do you really think they are going to be swayed in anyway by crowd reaction? come on get serious.

Bisping is also a long time mma veteran now and more than used to being booed. It hasn't bothered/effected him in the past so what makes you think it will now?

It is in general purely a sporting rivalry and generally taken in good spirit.

I am pretty sure English people don't hate Australians by any means, in the Rugby and Cricket fields they are considered 'the old enemy' and these are arguably the biggest games in those sports, although obviously Australia have New Zealand also as England have Wales/Scotland/Ireland/France for closer to home rivalries.

It would seem some Australians take the rivalry a little further and make silly little comments like the original post here about 'we HATE the British' etc etc

Obviously there are historical ties between the two countries, Australia was claimed by the British empire from the Dutch and spent years under the British rule as part of the Commonwealth.

So I suppose (even though this all happened hundreds of years ago and noone today was alive for such times) there does exist some form of resentment towards England and the English from some Australian's although I think in general it is confined to a healthy sporting rivalry and only a few childish/stupid people would take it further to the extent that they 'HATE' people they don't even know based on nothing more than the origin of where they were born.

wow do we hate poms i didnt know that, please i dont hate poms i hate bisping though, i only hate poms in rugby and whenever we vs them in soccer which is barely ever. we have a bigger rivalry with NZ, and by the way if you hear an annoying fan laughing and booing bisping that will be me

This is news to me, i have got on with every Aussie i've ever met. So we got a sporting rivalry - It all usually ends in drunken banter anyways!

Only time is dislike Australians are when they are mean to Brett and Jermaine... that shit aint cool.
