MMA SmacktalkMMA Smacktalk is for all the cheering, jeering, and smack-talking that you want. This is the stuff that isn't appropriate for the MMA Discussion forum. Rules are light, so if you don't have a sense of humor, then don't go here!
Kurt Angle would. Yet he keeps talking about making his UFC debut for years and years. Most recently being a few months ago saying he will join UFC once his TNA contract is up.
"He (Dana White) offered me an 8 year deal 1 fight, but after that I would have to sit in the audience. I would just say it was double figures in the million...
TO me, there's a lot of BS in that statement.
" .... an eight year deal ...."- The UFC is like the NFL. Your deal may be great, but they can cut you anytime. It's not guaranteed money.
" ..... double figures in the million ...." - Again, see the NFL. Incentive clauses can drive up the apparent value of a deal. What was he guaranteed? Was it a Lesnar-type deal, where he gets a percentage of the PPV?
"... I would have to sit in the audience ...." - In other words, I couldn't do fake fighting if I'm gonna get paid to do real fighting.
Lastly, Kurt Angle is 42 years old. No way he makes the transition now. He could money for another 20 years in fake fighting. If he went in for real fighting, and got exposed, he's got nothing.
UFC86 in posting Kurt Angle to UFC drivel shocker. Seriously dude, give it up. Angle will never sign for the UFC, and never make the transition into MMA.

"He (Chuck Liddell) could be a heavyweight champion with the way the heavyweights are right now for boxing"

Why the hell are you posting a video from 2008 as today's news?!?!
The fact you couldn't even get the year correct is an indication of your trolling. The video itself is not directly related to my point. I'm talking about kurt angle joining the ufc after his tna contract is up which is soon

This is direct quotes from Angle so I dont see how this is smacktalk on my behalf. Kurt Angle's TNA contract is nearing completion SOON so it IS relevant.
Kurt Angle won't fight because he'd lose. Kurt Angle was almost actually submitted on live television by someone who weighed about 150lbs with a kimura form the bottom. It was during Tuf n Nuf or whatever it was called. Kurt Angle slammed a contestant on the show who the n proceeded to lock up a kimura which Kurt almost tapped to, but one of the refs called it a pin and count to three. He was cut from the WWE because of it.
