What can't GSP do in 35 rounds ?

Or put up an exciting performance. No surprise there since he admits fighting "Safe" and he doesn't have great striking/submission skills to finish people. Fitch only gets 3 rounds and at least he try to finish fights, but Safe Pierre went for a take down at last minute of the 5th round on Kos and Shields.
I think he has been the most overrated and boring UFC Champion in history and he still is and will always be.

Being critical of a fighter's excitement level, as a fan, does not equal bashing.

He is not exciting to watch much lately. He is so weel rounded that he finds a way to outpoint whatever style of fighter he is facing...

His quote from the last Primetime sums up how I feel about him. He is an athlete, who looks at this as a competition, not a FIGHTER who looks at it as a fight!

"This is a tough competition. If I have to, I will hurt him."

So what? MMA is a sport not a show only. If GSP was at the WWE he would be fired, but UFC is all about the sport. If you want to see theater watch pro wrestling. The only one who could talk is Dana, because he is paying him for the earnings. If the earnings from GSP's fights are not high enough Dana should cut his salary, but he is the champion and he will remain the champion.

PS: Anderson silva will lose soon.. GSP will lose when he gets injured during a fight

To quote Al Davis, "Just win baby". GSP is the Floyd Mayweather of mma. He wins baby sometimes it may be dull but he wins. Before Shields he was winning every round. Maybe he is like Larry Holmes and the quality of his opponents is just not there. It takes two to make a great fight.

Yes the "Matt Serra Effect". LoL

But hey, lets face it. He is a all rounder who can afford to come out with this perfect game plan (Taking striker down and Strike with wrestlers or BJJ guys). Not everyone can say that.

Besides, look at it from a champion standpoint. Why risk it when he is winning all the time? If I am a champion, I would rather win a boring decision than rushing madly at a opponent in a attempt to finish him but ended up being knocked out.

But in Jon Fitch case, he have to finish fighter to shad his "boring" image for Dana White to give him the title shot. In GSP case, he is already the champion. Thats the difference.

GSP is very quickly running out of pay per view fights. Trust me on this. Dana will either force him to change to a new weight division or cut his pay because there is no one left to fight that excites the fans. The diaz fight would have been interesting, but he,s got a much bigger fight on his hands. HIMSELF!

Jakes TD attempts weren't relentless like they usually are... he only tried a few times...

I've seen him miss 10 TD attempts and continue until he completes.

It was a game plan issue.
