Should Good Looks be a requirement in fighting?
 

From what I have been hearing, the reason some people on this forum do not want to see Women's MMA is because they don't think the girls will be good looking enough. If you believe in this horse sh*t that looks should be a requirement then I guess we should get rid of Chuck Liddell, Wanderlei Silva, Tank Abbott, Tim Sylvia, Jeff Monson, and Nick Diaz because they are all pretty ugly in thier own right. But seriously who gives a sh*t what anyone looks like just as long as they can fight?

It doesn't matter, no. Some people are just ignorant towards females. You get people in every sport that always make snide comments to women about something or another.

The fighters aren't fighting to win a beauty contest, they are there to do what they do best. Why anybody would judge a fighter on looks is beyond me.

no it shouldn't be a requirement, would be sexist to say such a thing. Good looks is just a bonus.

If you can fight and happen to be good looking, kudos for you but by no means should it be a measuring stick. BTW if you are a good looking fighter, you're probably a pretty good fighter to stay good looking???

I think those who say the girl would have to be hot, do so because girls fighting is less competative and exciting than the men are, and that if they were hot, then that adds another dimension of entertainment. Maybe enough to make ya want to watch more.

Overeem's head is too small for his body. He reminds me of an animal or a cartoon character or something, always has, can't put my finger on what it is though. It's always bothered me.

Wow, he does actually look cartoonish. Like a cross between Sammy Morgan, Felix The Cat, and a giraffe.

Good call there, WL2FU. He makes himself look even more cartoonish by carrying that huge hammer around.
