I can understand hunting animals for food.
I can understand hunting animals in order to maintain ecobalance.
I can understand hunting animals if they pose an immediate danger to yourself, or others within the vicinity.
I can understand hunting animals if they are harming your subsistence.

I DO NOT understand why anyone would want to kill an animal for enjoyment or an adrenaline rush. The fact that someone could get excited about killing another living thing makes me almost physically ill.

I once hunted the most dangerous game...Ice T. It did not go well. All my friends were killed and he escaped.

Is it really so much worse than the enjoyment people get from pretending to kill each other in video games? Do people getting excited by the idea of killing people make you physically ill?

I know you gamers are all bunched up now. you're thinking "but that's not real"

explain to me why you and millions of others aren't enjoying a game where you build things or negotiate diplomacy?

Where is "MODERN DIPLOMACY 3" ??

The biggest difference I see between a hunter and a gamer is a hunter gets off his ass and out of the house.

That and hunters seem to be more honest about their nature.

Nice comparing a game where you kill pixels for fun to killing animals just for the heck of it. Troll much

I hit my first deer in the neck with a 12 gauge slug from less than 20 feet and the sound he made when he hit the ground was basically fantastic. The adrenaline rush was something that can't be described.

We smoked the loins and mixed the rest with pork sausage. Cooked that with taters and onions over the campfire for breakfast. Delicious
Ted Nugent is a draft-dodging pos coward. He has no problem fencing animals with an IQ of 20 and shooting them with a gun, but put him up against another human with a gun and thats too much for the ******* yokel. Yeah, a REAL man's man. Complete coward, but I totally understand why you idolize him though.

Back to the Goler clan for you. Comparing real killing to video game killing if stupid, even for the product of two siblings messing around like yourself.

Yeah I thought y'all would like that. I got some childish insults but no one even tried to answer my question.

Gamers, why do you enjoy killing in your games?

Please explain to me the pleasure you receive from that.

You did not receive childish insults, you received accurate observations.

To answer your question, do people really enjoy killing in video games, or do they just have fun moving a mouse/joystick with a crosshair on the screen shooting pixelated people? I don't play CoD, I play sports games and the GTA series. It has nothing to do with the "killing" its just a fun game to be played to test your reflexes and patience. I have more fun in high-speed chases in GTA then I do shooting people.

Do you know why people use fences??? I doubt it. Ted mainly hunts with a bow. And how did you come to the conclusion that he's a draft dodger? From the 77 edition of HighTimes? Please he had a student exception. Oh and please keep you insults to yourself. As clever as they are this is no place for it

A straight forward answer almost free of childish digs. Congratulations and thank you.

I don't think you are typical of gamers.

When I search for the best selling games for Xbox 360 or playstation 3 for this year or all time I never get more than 3 sports games in the top 10 and never higher than 6. All of the others are focused on killing. Except grand theft auto.

I would bet that hunters play more real sports than gamers play pretend ones. judging from sales, overwhelmingly Gamers prefer to pretend to kill.

Why do you think that is?
