They aren't endangered. It's the most common wild cat in North America. Did PETA hire you or something?

Bobcats are not endangered. They have a very strong robust population all across North America. They have legal hunting seasons in almost every state.

In my area they are considered a nuisance and used to get blamed for a lot of pet and poultry deaths.

Now people seem to think coyotes have migrated east and are responsible.

I've never seen a coyote in the wild. I see bobcats all the time.

I don't hunt any more because I don't like to kill things. Anymore.

this thread is the lamest attack on hughes yet.

I'm not a hunter. I'm even a bit of an animal-rights guy (not PETA by any means, but I'm anti-factory farming both for the animals', humans' and planets' sake, believe that animal cruelty should be prosecuted heavily, and that endangered species should be protected strongly). That said, bobcats are not endangered. They are legally hunted. They can be quite a nuisance and even danger to farmers' animals, pets, and even children (much like coyotes). While I am not, personally, a hunter, nor do I really understand the idea of killing animals for fun....of all the reasons to dislike someone...this isn't it. Would we be calling him out the same way if this was a deer? A wild hog? Chael Sonnen?

I always find it funny that people who hunt deer tend to get next to no stick due to it being excepted, but when a cute and rare animal is killed then it's OMG time. If you are against animals being killed don't only be against certain ones.

I don't see what the big deal is. Like has been said, they aren't endangered and they are a nuisance in alot of places. Plus, it was perfectly legal.

There's alot of things worth getting worked up over and this isn't one of them.

That'll be a pretty sweet mount in the man cave. Wish I had one tbh

Killing animals for fun is retarded and the fact that there are so many "humans" doing it, it's a prove that we live in a medieval society.

Hunting is the KINDEST thing humans do to animals.

If you have ever eaten at KFC or Burger King then you are a cruel disgusting hateful inhumane POS asshole.

You need to learn to respect the animals you eat like Hunters do.
