I know UFC has had video games in the past... They need to get a new video game.. With good graphics. It would be awsome. I mean look at WWE thats one of there main money making things.

UFC please make an up to date video game.. It would be awsome.. I will by it and im sure everyone else on this forum would.

Dana has said that a UFC video game is in the works, being done by THQ. But I'm sure it won't be out for a long time.

Just to let you know In January 2007, Zuffa and videogame developer/publisher THQ announced a license agreement giving THQ worldwide rights to develop titles under the UFC brand. The agreement gives THQ exclusive rights to current and next-generation consoles as well as PC and handheld titles. Also included are "certain wireless rights" which were not detailed. The licensing agreement is to expire in 2011. THQ are the guys who do the WWE games so expect the next line of UFC games to be a lot lot better.

If done right this has massive potential. Imagine being able to create a character and have them start as an Ultimate fighter contestant and train them up using specialist coaches (if you wanted more of a BJJ guy then you would choose Penn/Gracie as your coach, if you wanted a wrestler/G'n'P have Hughes coach, if you wanted a stand up banger choose Liddell as your coach etc etc). Obviously you could cross train with guest coaches to boost other attributes etc.

Then take that fighter to the Ultimate Fighter finals and then through a career mode climaxing in a title shot and subsequent defences.

Throw in a little theatrics and some fued story lines (choose how to react to different fighters and who you wanna fued with etc)and this could have the makings of a really good game.....obviously with the graphics and game play to match!!!

or u could start career mode fightin in smaller venues round the world an b offered tuf but have the ability 2 turn it down aswell

Another good thing would be choosing camps to train at during your UFC career. Imagine being able to choose from Big Bear, Militich Fighting Systems, American Top Team etc.

Imagine that you have been training at the Militich camp but you just signed on to fight Matt Hughes for a number one contender spot so they kick you to the curb. You have to choose a new camp (and subsequently learn a new submission or punch/kick combo) that you can employ against Hughes in the upcoming fight.

I think if they put ALOT of work into the gameplay, making it very technical and diverse, then it has massive potential....if they make it cheezy like the ones that are already out...then it will continue to do poorly

honestly, if they could get it on xbox live and shit...it would only re-enforce MMA's entrenchment in 21st century sports

You got it brother....bring it to the masses and get everyone onto it.

The Pride FC game on PS2 was pretty technical. You could fight from the ground while your opponent was standing and there were different mount positions etc.

but, how are they gonna do this?

there a billion different variables involved in mma. how on earth are they gonna make it realistic???

there are a billion different submissions and a billion different ways to do them in a billion different situations.

how are they gonna incorporated such complexity and realism? what buttons do you push to get the move you want? there are a trillion different moves, so how's that gonna work with only the 5-6(?) buttons that consoles have on their controllers.

what are you gonna press to get a submission or a clinch? up down left right 1/2 counterclockwise a+b?


to actually make it a realistic game is very unlikely in my opinion.
