I downloaded 0.5 and it won't work when I open it. Normally with emulators, they just work. So I should probably try to find a more up to date version...

Haven't messed around too much with MUGEN. It tends to be a little too unstable for my liking. Then again, that's how open-ended projects tend to be. If I'm able to find a stable build and character set (the specific characters tend to be buggier than anything), then I'd probably mess around with it more.

Funny thing about my home PC is that it is primarily used to surf the web, play emulators and download stuff via Bit Torrent. Then again, I don't have the extra funds to mess around with constantly upgrading it to keep it game worthy.

That's exactly how I felt about MUGEN. I felt it would be unstable and buggie.

So when you downloaded NeoRageX, you didn't need to d/l any extra plugins?

Nope... Not at all. If you frequent Bit Torrent sites, look for the complete NeoRageX package. The thing that you must have in order for the UI to come up is the Neo Geo bios rom images. I can't recall them by name off the top of my head (if I was at home, I would list them), but if they aren't there in the same directory as the NeoRageX executable it won't run. Now that I think about it, that's probably what kept you from running the emulator.

If you find the NeoRageX package it will have the Emulator, the directories, bios files and all 183 rom images all in one. You'll know it is the right one because it clocks in at around 2.5GB total. From there it's all a matter of extracting the files and setting up the options.

I have an older brother, who likes to d/l, I don't think that's going to happen. 2.5 GB is too much~! I don't really care to get every game, I just want the Fatal Fury games, King Of Fighter games, World Heroes and a few others.

I have a bit of cash so I may buy some Wii points. I'm thinking I will get World Heroes, Fatal Fury and Final Fight to go with. They're not cheap on Virtual Console.

In Japan they have KOF '94 for their Virtual Console.
