Wouldn't that be cool
if they made a ufc game where you started out as some of the older figthers like royce and worked your way through the tournaments  
and when you beat them you get to unlock the characters to use in an open fight.
they could have like the first 12 ufc's in one game

there is a lot of room for bad ass MMA games that I wish someone would pick up on. There is a huge potential for a fantastic MMA-based game that would be fun for more than just fans of MMA.

and maybe when you win mathces you get to choose what aspects of your fighting you want to go up. like knees, elbows, kicking, takedowns, etc

This is what I like about fighting games like boxing Fight Night.
Maybe for MMA:
Speed: Your in-ring movement
Punching: How hard you punch/effectiveness
Kicking: How hard you kick/effectiveness
Elbow: How hard you throw an elbow/effectiveness
Knee: How hard you throw a knee/effectiveness
Chin: Your ability to take damage to the face
Body: Your ability to take damage to the body
Legs: Your ability to take damage to the legs
Takedown: Your ability to take an opponent down
Takedown Defense: Your ability to keep from being takendown
Submission: Your ability to do submissions/reverse submissions |

MMA is such a diverse sport that the potential for a groundbreaking game is just too good to pass up. We can only hope that a big name developer will realize this. I cant even believe how advanced some of those wrestling games are getting, I refuse to play them but reading articles about them. you realise that alot of the things they are doing with the soap opera we call "professional" wrestling, could be directed toward a much better medium such as MMA.

When MMA gets bigger than its current state (and it will by exponential amounts), it will get a game that is great. I expect this to come round maybe within the next year or two.
Kameleon: By looking at your post, I've got to ask...
Did you used to play D&D? It looks like something an old "pen and paper" type RPG player would write out. I know, because I am one of those fossils.

I am a nerd but never played D&D, the only "pen and paper" RPG I play is Warhammer. I also play Magic: The Gathering  .
I got most of those types of stats from Fight Night. |
