UFC 2009 Video Game
just got my newest Fightsport in the mail, and after a few page flips, i saw a little blurb about the new UFC game coming out for 360 and PS3. you gotta see the screen shot, it looks totally real! I cannot wait for this game to come out, especially with the way XboxLive will let you play anyone in the world!
awesome!

Im really hoping the game has a really deep stable and makes sure the fighters are all skilled in the areas they should be. If I see Kongo being able to pull off gogoplatas at will Ill smack someone.

I hope they dont use a life bar system in the game, have it set up like they do in boxing games, or have a submission bar that warns you to break out before you lose

I wonder if you get caught in a submission and you don't tap, it'll show your arm snap, or you getting chokes out.
To make this work they'll have to get the ground game perfected... Somehow...

This has got to be one of the toughest games to balance ever. There are so many determining factors in how a fight goes, and I really hope they get ALL aspects of MMA down. I also hope for an in-depth training mode with mini-games to increase your character's skill. I REALLY hope Fedor gets signed soon, so he can be in the game.

I thought Tap Out 2 had a pretty good ground system, alot to be improved on though. They need to have somewhat different controls for each position or there is no way they'll have enough buttons. I think it is supposed to be an anual thing like Madden. If the real game looks like the trailer it'll be amazing.

Your right, so many factors to consider. If you get hit with a good kick to the face, you should be done and Big John should be stopping the fight right away. None of this, button mashing where you end up bashing your opponent 10 times with a knee and he's still up.
