They'd still make a killing even if they just stuck with microtransactions instead of making a new game every year. This looks to be one of those rare sports games where no features are held back from the original title of the series, hopefully that observation turns out to be true.

Well I personally don't see them doing the FULL roster, just the big names and some of the rising stars. Why have some people that are on the roster that are 0-3 in the UFC when you know they won't be for long lol

Yeh i think thats what he was saying he wants to roster rather large he's giving it to the guy in charge of the roster to make sure its correct.

Well, I don't see it as a bad thing. Take a copy of, say, NBA 2k5. Now take one of NBA 2k8, or in a couple of weeks or so, NBA 2k9. Is it the same game? No, it's not only the rosters, the game engine is improved each year, made more realistic, and with more features.

Yes, it is usually just an update, and they get to charge you again for about 80% the same game. However, I'm not sure if they would do a game each year, there aren't that many fights and roster changes each year as in the other major sport titles. But then you had Tiger Woods 09...

I'm not sure how they are doing it, but here we can have fun and rate your favorite fighters stats. You can do the stats of fighters you hate.. anything. Just create your stats on a scale of 1 to 100.

Stats taken from fight night, but added more for MMA.
