I haven't played the demo yet, and even though I've only really heard positive things for the game, but the game just seems so... THQ-y. Jerky fighting animations, decent models, but strange modeling for heads and weird body texturing. The fight damage looks really good, as does the sweat. The game seems really arcade like.
I mean the game isn't out yet and I haven't played it and though though I'm giving criticism, I'm very excited for it. I will be getting the demo the day. Honestly though, THQ doesn't have the license for the UFC for that much longer, only enough time to make one more game. I hope EA picks up the game. I believe they could give a good re-haul on the game. Improve graphics, sound, gameplay, animations, everything. Not to mention the gigantic pockets that EA has. Because the current state for the game reminds me too much of their wrestling games, how they punch, graphics, everything for the most part.
They even had totally different team(Supposedly) working on this, and it's still reminiscent of them. I liked the wrestling games in the past by them, but I just don't want it for this game.
But I'm honestly hoping for the best, as this game will probably still be really fun, just not so much of the realism that I was hoping for.
