Right trigger you block them. You can't actually check them but when you press right trigger(I believe) it magically blocks leg kicks.

I'm away from my ps3 right now, so I need to get all the info as possible.
Is there away to rush in after you've hurt your opponent? I always manage to knock liddell down, but by the time I get there, he's already recovered.

I guess holding down the left trigger (on xbox 360) to make you run in. But you saw what happened to Manhoef when he fought Maeda yeah?

You press down on L3 and then push towards the direction of the dude knocked down. That happen to me a lot before. If by the time you get there he has recovered but still down, if you flick the right stick then press Triangle or Square he will do a diving punch. And possibly you could rock him again or KO him (from the diving punch), but normally you just punch him and fall onto his guard.

Anyone else find it odd there is no way to push someone up against the fence?
Seems like that would be an obvious tactic but maybe I am just missing it.

I know, you would think that cage control was important enough to implement in the game. Guess not.

I might be imagining things but it seems like it's slightly harder to get up off your back if your head is up against the cage.

This game is missing a few pretty major things:
No fence control, Elbows can only be used from full guard (wtf no side control? no fm?), no checking leg kicks.
They are also missing specific damage to legs. I played a match with no one using the other controller and kicked chuck in the leg for 10 min straight. Shogun could still move around the ring just as fast. Maybe it hurts his ability to shoot, but it doesnt seem to do anything other than cause very tiny amounts of damage (over 10 that is alot). I had really hoped leg kicks were going to be a legitimate way to slow down aggressive strikers.
I also wish the striking was sone with the skill stick and shooting could be done with buttons. Seems like a coppout. They could have still left the ground game the same.
Still fun as hell, though.
