as title says how the hell do you finish the submissions?

A submission is finished when the other person taps out.

Wrong section so I moved it, now as for your question on XBox you can eitherbutton smash or what works better is rotate the right stick so I would assume that would work for you to, its tough though and you need to get your submission right up point wise and leveled up to really pull it off.

What I do is furiously smash the X button on Xbox. It's hard as hell though.

You could also rotate the right stick, but again hard. You should wait until the opponents stamina is low.

whats button on ps3 though

Dont have one but I would assume you rotate the stick, submissions are extremely tricky and you have to get your opponent tired by blocking transition before you can do it.
