Dude this game is seriously my favorite fighting game i ever played... I finally understand all the moves and movements / dodging need for counter hits.
And Expert finally feels like normal and Advanced like easy, im very impressed with the ground game they perfected, i didnt think they were going to take it this serious, and make it this sweet!!

Shogun sub transfer from kneebar to heelhook. And from triangle from butterfly guard to an armbar. You hit lb+r3 on xbox atleast.

Yep, and L1 plus R3 on ps3. If he does it to you, have to switch the direction you're spinning, or 'shining' if you think of it in horror movie terms.

Anybody else read "Fight!" magazine? They have a short article about the game, and show pics of those TUF gamestop fighters. Their description of career mode makes it sound really cool, though. Rogan and Goldberg apparently recorded hundreds of names into the game for you to choose from instead of just nicknames. And in title defense mode, you accumulate damage fight to fight. They have montages before the event fights just like the UFC pay per views where the fighters tell what they're going to do, and they talk with Rogan after the match if they win. Something about fighters' stats being changed (provided you have online access) to reflect their progress in the real life UFC.

I like the changes they made to peoples fighting stances and things like that. The movement around the cage feels a lot better. The ability to slip punches is a good addition, but I feel like it is more of a jerking motion rather than a fluid movement.

Indeed. It seems the button mashing doesn't really work anymore because I can't stop takedowns that way either... or escape submissions for that matter. On a sidenote, how to switch stances?
