UFC 2010 career help!
I am having a rough time with my career character. I can't seem to keep up with the degrading skill feature. I try and spar but I barely get any points and I am demolishing my sparring partner.
Any tips?

Yup auto spar would do the trick just upgrade your Sub Def to about 80's and then go for KO offense.

I just remember getting much more points sparring myself than I did using the auto spar feature.

Does anyone have a list on the moves each camp can teach? I really want to have that switch body kick that Jessie "Texan Terror" James (LW career in WFA) has but I can't find it.

only train up to 30, then 50, then 70. then train at the very end of your career, so you can have him saved as a good fighter.
focus on manual sparring. remember, it is not the amount of damage you do, but the amount of shots you land. for every transition or shot blocked in sparring, you lose points. you can rack up MAD points by legkick, punch, clinch, takedown, pitter patter, repeat.
I max out my sparring partners before I even touch my main 3 attributes.
Save up points at the end to give to your fighter just before your farewell fight. then you can have 80 Strike offense, or whatever else you'd like, for sure.

They jacked this game up for the worse as far as im concerned. Reading a FuKiNg spread sheet IS NOT WHAT I WANT FROM AN MMA GAME. Even worse I HAVE TO MANAGE SAID SPREAD SHEET!?
Ive taken to leveling each stat up individually and not spreading the points out to much. that way I can excell in atleast a few areas and pray to god the COM doesnt attack my weakness.
Game looks and feels much better in the octagon but everyting else is jank. Also im allready getting tired of the horrible Yukes janky ass animations. Please Dana give the I.P. to a real developer not a toy making company.
I went the first 10 fights fine winning every one but then I hit a wall where all the UFC guys have ten times the stats that I have and are nearly impossible to beat unless I get a flash KO. This only occurs because of the terrible training modes where the com allways runs away making it hard to score training points, or learn certain new moves.
For exampe ive found it impossible to learn the Judo hip throw because you have to be in the defensive from the clinch but th COM refuses to grapple or even engage me.RAGE!!!!!!!
Oh well back to Red Dead Redemption.

I'm tellin' ya, my tips work wonders.
It does take WAY too much time for someone with a life though. This is ridiculous. The gameplay is sick, everything seems balanced to me as I turn up the difficulty. But the career, and the methods to creating fighters are as jumbled, unsorted, and bland as I've seen. (you can make a sweet character, but it takes a long time.

I am right there with you. I could literally beat the living crap out of a UFC fighter in round one, then in round 2 they will come out and KO me with 2 shots. It literally takes me back to my controller throwing days...
