Moving up a weight class help
 

Okay so I was wondering if anyone could help since this is bugging me;

In career mode I was 29-8 and defended the lightweight belt a few times and got asked to relinquish the belt and move up to Welter Weight so I did. I beat a ranked 3 Dan Hardy, then despite still weighing in at 170lbs I'm back in the Lightweight division fighting all the guys I cleared out, and after my fight with Hardy he even got and won a Welter Weight title shot.

Any ideas what's happening and why I'm not fighting Welterweights despite weighing in at 170 every fight? :confused:

I've heard that it happens to a lot of people. It didn't happen to me, but I don't think there's a thing you can do about it.

FWIW, in order to make the HOF you need to decline the weight class change so you can later get a champion vs champion fight. After that you can switch classes.

I moved up to WW after being the LW champ and I got my champion vs champion bout with the LW champion, so you don't necessarily have to decline to move up.

Wow, I just got a sweet glitch. After my champion vs champion match I moved down to LHW from HW. Anyways after that fight my next opponent was a blank picture with 2 big zeros over it. My weeks to next fight disappeared and now I can apparently train, spar, do camps indefinitely.

This game is a big bug. :laugh:

So it might take a while but eventually, I'll have a near perfect HW with every move learned.

I don't think this is true in all cases. I finished career mode the other day with my fighter, and I accepted to move up in weight as soon as I could and I got a champion vs. champion fight later after I won the HW belt and defended it a few times and I made it into the HOF as well.

Okay so I just carried on with the bug, constantly winning a no1 contender match then championship, relinquishing then rinse and repeat just to get it over with and get the achievement but despite winning my last fight it just lets me train over and over without fighting or ending career mode.

Not impressed with the bugs so far.
