I reckon it's average. Hardly an improvement. Pride mode is the only good new thing in my opinion. The simulation mode is horrible. Given that you and your opponent wil have an exchange and you'll be a zombie by the end of it regardless of whether it's the first round or not.

Expected a bit better but once I get good at it I'm sure it'll be okay.

I pay little attention to the negative shit people are saying about the demo. It's a demo.

I've played as many as I could, and it's fun of course. But weird how Anderson was throwing more spinning strikes than Bones when I played him. I admit playing the Pride demo ten times more than the UFC one but they were both fun. I ko'd Wand with Rampage, the other way around and submitted with Wand. Still working on one of those for Rampage. The UFC part may be better than their 2010 game, have to see the full thing to be sure, but I know definitely the Pride part is better than the last of their games.

Pretty fun, especially the Pride fight. They did an excellent job at re-creating the Pride feel with the voices, etc.

I can't wait to Soccer kick Jones with Shogun.

Every strike, weak or strong, seems to mean a lot more in this game than in previous ones.

I'm playing on Ultimate difficulty and I'm having a great time losing over and over to Rampage right now.

I feel like the UFC mode feels like a nice overhaul. But it's a little hard to tell with just a few playthroughs.

I would at least say this version seems to requires more skill than previous versions, although I haven't completely figured out the ground game yet.

No kidding.. I'm not even sure how the sub system works (but anything is better that "who breaks their joystick first"), do you have to "catch" your opponent if you're going for a sub and vice versa?

Is it just more or are other people having a difficult time getting out of subs?

I've got it set on normal difficulty and the submission mini game feels slow as shit when I'm in a submission as opposed to feeling normal when I have a guy locked in a submission.
