***Official*** MMA Forum All Access Interview... Week 7... Coldcall420

[OFFICIAL]MMAF All Access Thread

- Week 7 -
(Coldcall420 interviewed by SpoKen)

What's up everybody? I'm here with week 7 of MMAF All Access. This weeks interviewee was named the most controversial member of 2009, and it's true! Because this is the most CONTROVERSIAL All Access ever created. As promised, I don't edit any of his answers, and I ask all the tough questions! So, lets just jump to it huh?

coldcall420

So Coldcall, my brother, you know the first question! Why do YOU love Rashad Evans?

I used to hate Rashad Evans! The shoulder movement thing and all that turned me right off as a fan. I am proud to admit he has cost me many credits, I have since however, bet on him and won. Rashad earned my respect in two aspects, well three really, cleaning Chuck's clock 1st. Standing toe to toe like a man and hanging in there until getting k/o'd by Machida, then offering truth and praise after the fight would be 2nd. Finally his coaching on Ultimate fighter, he really is a compassionate guy when it comes to his fighters and giving them all his effort. All that said, I picked him to beat rampage cuz I think he is in Rampage's head, BUT...after the last fight I'm not sure.

Don't worry, your money is safe if you bet on Rashad Evans What made you become a fan of MMA?

I have studied Martial arts since I was young. I started in Tae Kwon Do. Once reaching Blackbelt I then turned to a Shotokan Karate Dojo and began learning that Art. I reached Black Belt as well, personally, I love Karate more than any other Discipline. The main reasons are the Respect and Discipline I have learned from these arts. They have taught me to be able to handle all situations many that have nothing to do with fighting.

Do you have any amateur or professional fights under your belt?

The only fights I have under my belt are tournament fights, usually for Belt testing or simply representing my Dojo in Tournaments at the time. I had tons of Trophies long time ago but they went with the garbage men a while back.

So, who's your favorite fighter or fighters?

Counter fighter's are my favorite which many people consider boring. I love all aspects of fighting watching head and shoulder movement, footwork, seeing one fighter's fake to draw another fighter in to an attack. Lyoto Machida is the best fighter that represents this, he is my favorite. I know....people are stunned. Next, FTR would be Diego Sanchez. Mainly cuz Diego knows how to separate all outside distractions from his mind when fighting and has incredible mental strength. A key in Martial Arts...I have watched both these fighters since the beginning's of their respective career's.

Who's your favorite non-UFC fighter? Boxer? Kickboxer?

My favorite non-UFC fighter would have to be a boxer that goes by the name of Oscar De La Hoya. In his prime he was one of the greatest to watch, he was robbed a couple times especially against Felix Trinidad and Mosley. Next would be Roy Jones Jr. I believe there was perhaps no one better than Roy in his prime. I have seen everyone of his fights....amazing...then fell of the face of the Earth.

Sad to see it happen to someone as big as RJJ, but these things happen. Same happened to Tim Sylvia. .... Which style of Martial Arts do you like seeing most?

Karate........

What was the first MMA fight you saw? If you can remember.

UFC 1 "The Beginning." Royce Gracie vs. Ken Shamrock....awesome!!!!

*Sniff* I smell Sherdog all of a sudden.. huh. Anyways, favorite kung fu movie?

Bruce Lee. "Enter The Dragon" also where I fell in love with the concept of "Jeet Kune Do."

Do you have an all time favorite fight or fights?

My all time fav fight would have to be Mir beating NOG. I know people are like WTF...what about some of Fedor's battles. Yeah those for sure, but Mir when he beat NOG turned a MAJOR emotional corner in his career. He was "back" sure he lost the second fight to Brock but Mir's working on that right now and I believe this trilogy will be remembered forever. If your a fan of Mir and you have followed MMA for a long time you no matter what have to admit he looks better now than ever and is more determined than ever.....scary!!!

I'm a huge Mir fan, but I maaaay be a bigger Big Nog fan. That fight left a bittersweet taste in my mouth, ya know? So, favorite fight featuring women?

Any with Gina as long as her face doesn't get messed up.....uummmm I love me some Gina. I still think its not fair they made her fight that man Cyborg.....

She did say she trained with men didn't she? Not too big on Gina Carano (Don't hit me!) Aight, time to learn a bit about you! What's your name Steve?

Stephen...

.... and how did you discover this forum?

I was looking for a porn site and......Nah, I was setting up my Google home page and there are "add on's" you can have on your Igoogle homepage custom and mine has all MMA sites stream there and this one stuck out. I lurked for like 3 months then joined.....then went Gold which if you haven't yet.....your dumb!!! Even though you cant read this....

We all know that you were once a mod here, and then you weren't. A lot of people still have questions, and this is your chance to give us some thoughts on the whole subject. If you could without starting a huge backlash of course.

Let me say this about that. I started posting here a while back and didn't know how to control anything. It's my pleasure to have worked on the staff of this Forum. I have many friends, not just co-staff, but really good friends that know alot about me. All the members and the love and support they have is awesome and the reason I'm here.

Making staff IMO is a responsibility that comes after you have earned it. I was taken off staff by vote of admins. Basically, there were a series of people that came here to cause problems. The way that I deal with these situations has all the support of the blues and the reds but only one or 2 of the admins.....this being while on staff.

To this day I believe my contributions to this forum are worthy of being on staff and the reason's that all of the staff know for me being removed I believe have been proven wrong. It's one thing to take time out of your business day to clean up trolls ad spammers, but to have to argue that some are only here to do that, then this long process of letting them do it seems pointless. Nip the problem in the ass before it gets too big. Some of these issues I cannot get into but the staff know what I mean.

I feel like all the staff would want me on board, with the exception of three administrators. I was voted Best Mod, Best Staff Member, and Most Controversial. How can you award a guy like that by removing him from staff, for the very thing you awarded him for being....controversial??? I was told a week prior a thread was being started to nominate me for SMOD, then Stokes flipped cuz i sent him a PM asking to clarify his "death"....next thing i know I'm off staff. TRUTH

The reason I asked to be banned was to prove a point, not because I dont want to post with the"members' like one admin suggested. In regards to that, were all members. No one is above anyone else. That same admin I have Pm'd and gotten no response, so I'm supposed to check my ego but they dont need to acknowledge me a paid member???? Hypocrisy, your job is to assist members not ignore them. You know who you are. It's all good, some people have a tough time admitting they were wrong.

Anyway I asked to be banned to allow the final straw that got me off staff to prove I did nothing to them and let them get themselves kicked out of here. They didn't disappoint telling you Spoken to (well they left you a very bad PM) and also attacked an administrator on a thread. Eventually recruiting members to other sites and was banned. I let them expose themselves and prove I had nothing to do with their bitch fit, which FTR this person admitted they over reacted to my Pm asking to clarify the "death' and that they knew it would cost me my position on staff. Nice huh???

You asked and I must admit if this all gets posted I will have respect.....let the truth be known....people want to know!!

You can paint me red again whenever....

Wowee!!! I'm anxious to see how the responses in the thread go from here. Have you ever knocked anyone out? (Or beat someone down really badly)

Most recently, I was at a gas station and someone asked me for money, Look, if i have cash here's a buck, whatever. I only had plastic and was in a really pissy mood. Needless to say no I dont have money and piss off was enough to make this person invade that gap....the gap being my space. I blasted him in the Adam's apple.....you should hear the noise people make when you do that. Well out of no where someone tackles me from the side...no problem....but we land on my shoulder...ouch. I was able to pull a shitty guillotine but lost it, somehow after rolling around on the floor for what seemed like forever I locked him in an Anaconda....as soon as he went limp I jumped in my car and dipped......Adam's apple was still over in the corner wheezing.

Worst beat down ever was a stalker boyfriend of my sister's but we wont go there.....

I think we will go there...

That was a situation that no brother wants to deal with. At the time she was dating someone she no longer wanted to date. He did.....and he let her know, physically, that she would still be dating him. I was on a plane that night........I hate flying also. I wouldn't call it a fight it was more like a mauling, but he never bothered her again, and she doesn't even know I was there. Somethings need to be nipped in the butt and kept quiet. It's my Sister man, all I got on this Continent is her and Mom's and Pop's. The rest of my family is home in England.

What do you do for a living?

I own an Investment Banking Firm, seen Boiler Room. Something like that, but legit.

I haven't seen that movie and uh.. does this mean you have millions? I hear banking and go nuts.

It's not really appropriate to talk about money or what you make although I have shared with some on the forum. You asked so....Simply put....Yes! I can go where I want when I want for the most part and could retire tom. I'm 30 so why not stack some more bread??? My job at this point isn't as hard as other's, Especially if your good at what you do. I put in the time and do the research myself and give my Broker the best picks i can find for their clients. I also do alot of Private placements.(Pre IPO's)

So I'm coming over next week and moving in.. thanks dude If you only had 24 hours to live what would you do?

Every woman withn sight....

Swp,Run!!! Hide Toxie!! You don't want to be standing in his heartbreaking path should that day ever come!! And last but not least.. the most controversial question of all... Are you a mac or PC?

PC.....and this Vista crap really sucks.....

It's the thought that counts my friend. And there we have it! Another episode of MMAF All Access in the history books! Who will it be next week? No way of knowing, but check your inbox, and if you see "MMAF All Access" then you have been selected for MMAF super stardom! Remember to +rep the living hell out of Coldcall for his troubles! Until next time folks, this is SpoKen, hope you enjoyed

Thanks for the good read you guys, and sure glad Coldcall's back on here. Those fights were more interesting than anything I've ever dealt with, and gotta agree with some of the Rashad/Machida talk too

Something so beautiful shines over him and I am sure I could not breathe when his aura came close to mine. He is a true paragon in the matter of live and he reached soemthing wich I wanna archieve one day. The way he behaves himself and his Respect and Honor for his fellow competitors is so truthful matchless. I will never forget when I saw him crying in the locker room from happiness. There is no other champion for me!

I would like to thank Coldcall for this super studly interview, and for keeping his head turned long enough for me to swipe the tomatoes.

They're sticky and delicious.

I can't step into Shotokan class without thinking about this man. I know some of you can't step into the shower without thinking of him. You sick f8cks!
