Post Research on dangers of MMA

I am going to be writing a research paper on the dangers of MMA and how it is perceived to be more violent than other sports such as football and boxing. I have searched the internet and the forum and have found several good articles about the subject. I was hoping someone else on the forum could help point me in the direction of other articles, scientific studies etc. Thanks

are you looking for info on why you think it is more dangerous or why you think it is less deaths.

If you are talking about how it is less dangerous the look at the deaths in mma vs other sports.

You could also point towards the concussion rates in the NFL

Im trying to find information to prove that it is less dangerous overall. As for the NFl concussion rates that would be a good idea but where would I find concussion rates in MMA to compare that to?

I remember reading a really good article about rehydration after cutting weight and the danger of over dehydrating and the danger it poses to concussions. Think it was the UFC doc who is on deadliest warrior.

I'll try and look it out for you.

Thank you very much man, appreciate it. I talked to my professor and my thesis has changed to arguing why MMA should be legalized in NY. If anyone has any information about this I would greatly appreciate it.
