How is my Muay Thai Technique?

A buddy of mine knows Muay Thai and has been teaching me informally. What do you guys think and how can I improve?

Edit: Halfway through the kicks seem to get a little better.

Okay, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume we are not being trolled. Having said that, I would recommend finding a new teacher if you're serious.

I'll start with your stance, for pure muay thai your stance is far too wide and your elbows are WAY too far away from your body.

Now your striking.
You're bending at the waist and literally sticking your chin out when you throw anything. Your back foot is coming completely off the ground which ruins your base and takes away all of your power. You turn your head away from your target when you contact. You look at the floor when you kick. You're also not turning your hip or your plant foot on your kicks. I'm not even going to start on cardio. I'll stop here, because I feel bad tearing all of this apart.

But like at said at the beginning, if your buddy is letting you do that or is teaching you that way, GTFO and get to an actual gym if you seriously want to learn Muay Thai.

Sorry, I will try to be more productive and helpful with my comments in the future. Following on from my frank review before I would suggest that you work considerably on your footwork. This will allow you to gain proper angles on your strikes to produce more power and strike faster. Also improved footwork would allow you to go in and out of striking range without looking like your bending over for a prostate exam with every combo you throw.

Taking that in mind, I'm going to go for gym run number two and try again. Thanks.

Also, what's wrong with bending my waist? I feel like I get more momentum from my body when I do that.

The short answer, you will get kicking in the head.

The long answer, you're sticking your chin out. It takes all of your core out of the punch and takes away all of the power. If you bend over like that guy from TUF you lose everything off your punches, not to mentioned you will get clinched and get your face kneed off.

I have very bad posture, is there anything I can do to fix it? By the way, stay tuned for a new video I'm about to leave for the gym now.
