I wouldn't mind some constructive criticism too. I was real slow and weak because I'm still working on getting my cardio up and that was after an hour and a half of cardio. Also I stalled once or twice because I wasn't sure what strike he wanted me to do. He doesn't speak English and I don't speak Korean. Makes for an interesting class haha I'll be training with him in S Korea for a year.

From what i saw, you were pretty good. From my perspective, you need to put a bit mroe of your hips into the kicks and to make sure you keep your toes pointed down when going for a shin block/knee, but the instructor did pick up on that.

After 3 months of training though, you were definately very very good.

Yeah we test about once every 4 - 6 weeks. Even longer if you're progressing slowly. Each test get's harder and harder. My last test was about an hour long. It was pretty rough but my next test is supposed to be REALLY hard. We start out as a level 8 and go down to 1 then considered a Black Belt. We test often I think because our class is 5 days a week. I'm a 5 level right now and testing for 4 level in about a month. The video I posted was from about 2 or 3 months ago but still try to learn from it. How long are ya'lls classes? Ours is 2 1/2 hrs a night. Is that long or short for Muay Thai class?

Yes, his hand should be by his head. I don't care if he's champion, if he goes to kick me like that, I can just hook him and I win.

I suppose it depends on the reason behind kicking the bag, just train for endurance, power or just to condition your shins, you might not keep your hands where they should be.

Even if you're training for endurance, power and conditioning, you should keep your hand there. You shouldn't get used to using your right arm for more power if you're not gonna do that in a fight
