My Training Videos

hey guys. just wanted to post my training videos to see if any of you experts out there could give me any tips//advice for me.
a little background: i'm 17 and i've been doing Muay Thai at Fairtex for about 4 months, so I wouldn't be surprised if I have a lot to work on. I still got room for TONS of improvement.
anyways, take a look, and lemme know what you guys think.
thanks!

Okay first off, your left hand when kicking is wandering, you need to keep it secure next to your temple. I noticed that straight away with your punches as well, you should start doing bigger combos on the bag without all the pauses, this will not only increase your combo ability but your cardio too.

For example, try adding a right hook, followed by a left elbow to it. Therefore, it'd be Jab - Cross - Right Kick - Jab - Cross - Left Kick - Jab - Cross - Right Hook - Left Elbow

On the pad work, try and respond quicker. You can't think in a fight, you have to know how to do it off by heart, and working on response will help you a lot. Try getting a few combos worked out in your head which you can pull off without even telling your body to, it does it automatically.

Yeah the main thing I saw was the left hand on the right kicks would like he said wonder around. One hand should always be against your temple. If you throw one hand in a punch or kick the other should be blocking.

Thanks for the advice on the left hand during right kicks. I'll keep that in mind.
And yeah, I wasn't able to do that combo fast enough on Thai Pads because my partner kept forgetting the combo, haha.

Looking at the jump kick dude on the end, he had a similar problem with his opposite hand. Loved the jump kicks though

The combos on the bags as well though, it was just 1-2, Kick...1-2....Kick...

You can't go into a fight practicing just that, you need to figure out some combos, and make the bag hurt! As well as that, I see you did 4 kicks towards the end of it. **** that, do 25 kicks, each leg. You wanna condition yourself, and the more you do something, the better you get, so you get technique and cardio in one! My gym hasn't got one of those fat bags though, I'll tell my Kru to buy a couple

Yeah the dude at the end loved them jumpkicks just a bit too much haha, he pulled them off so slow too, if someone caught that he'd be ****ed.

And remember, keep that hand there. If you have to, walk around all day with your hands by your head. That way it'll become second nature

Here's one of my videos after 3 months. I REALLY need to work on my elbows

I wouldn't mind some constructive criticism too. I was real slow and weak because I'm still working on getting my cardio up and that was after an hour and a half of cardio. Also I stalled once or twice because I wasn't sure what strike he wanted me to do. He doesn't speak English and I don't speak Korean. Makes for an interesting class haha I'll be training with him in S Korea for a year.
