haha yeh its slowly gettin better. sorry didn't realise... ive been watchin those three for years, especially macfie and parr (those two got me interested in muay thai). So I cant even put into words how exciting this all is!
I had a look at the web-site and noticed that the bio's are a bit thin
So for anyone who is interested here is abit about the Australian's involved. Bearing in mind this is only my opinion after watching them all fight about 20-30 times over the last 7-8 years
Bruce 'The Preacher' Macfie is the most experienced of the three. He is technically sound. Has fast hands and good elbows, decent leg kicks. Has big heart. If anything he lacks abit of imagination. Will be fully motivated now toward the end of his career.
John 'Wayne' Parr is also very experienced. He is well-rounded and constantly evolving. He has knockout power, devestating knees and solid kicks and elbows. His main strength comes from his flowing combinations, speed and power. He is a born warrior and fighter. He has beaten Bruce Macfie twice, knocking him down a few times (not easy to do!). He is probably at the peak of his powers right now.
Soren Mongkonthon is just coming into his own.. he is tall and rangey. technically very good with good power and great elbows. He has beaten Jomhod in Thailand so he's no mug! He could be a surprise in this, he has also lost to JWP.
Hope sum1 got somethin out of that!
c'mon ozzy! hehe
btw if ne1 has any similar thoughts on the other fighters i would be interested, as i dont know most of them
