Is Port Kells near you? If so, revolutionfightteam.com check er out. They're an MMA gym but you can always drop in for the Muay Thai classes if that's all you're after and do some conditioning and practice on your own or with a friend inbetween classes.

Damn...

I just the went to their web site and that is EXACTLY what I would do. Seems fun.

Unfortunately, Im in Vancouver so it would take me an hour there each time.

Thats 6 hours minimum travel a week for 3 classes.

Anything IN or CLOSE to vancouver?

I doubt there's much, but google would be your friend here. In the end you might have to ask yourself how bad you want it.

Yeah, was just about to come in an say that there has got to be an MMA gym in Vancouver, it's a pretty damn big city.

Universal MMA is a great decision. You'll probably have a few opportunities to train with Denis Kang.

Universal MMA will probably be good enough for all your needs. But there are tons of specific style gyms in Van. BJJ, Judo, Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai gyms. So many choices that I kind of wish I lived in Van.

There's an MMA gym about 45 minutes from me but I need a new car :/. All I have in town is a Judo gym.. Unless I want to train... TKD...
