Give me some tips for training

I would like to train muay thai as my main fighting technique.

How are the most effective ways i can train wrestling jiu jitsu, and grappling all by myself without having to have someone teach me.

First, this should be in the MMA Techniques section. Second, buy a wrestling dummy so you can use it to work the techniques with. Third, buy a Gable DVD for wrestling and a Gracie DVD for BJJ!

you cannot effectivly train combative sports alone
you can do shadow boxing or bag work but particularly with Grappling you just can't teach yourself
you need another body to Wrestle with

Yeah, the tips I just gave you were in case you really needed to train by yourself. In reality you need at least one other partner to train. Otherwise you will have very little improvement if any!:(

If you cant do the gym thing for whatever reason, find at least one other person who is interested in mma. It wont be top notch training, but you can find a shit load of instructional stuff out there. Find a buddy to practice with. If you fool around long enough, you will figure out what makes an armbar, triangle, heel hook, etc. work. You wont get a complete understanding of things, but it is better then nothing.

Yeah, that is definately true. I'm guessing you have limited means at the moment?

honestly the best i can say if you cant make it to a gym is to just get to a regular gym and get in better shape until you can get into a real gym.

if you go solo after a year you will technically be where you would have been in 2-3 weeks in a gym. especially with kickboxing and bjj, you will get no where fast if you dont have instruction.
