Effect on weight doing muay thai
new to the forum so saying hello all.
Started doing muay thai this week (will be in my 3rd class tomm). I absolutely love it. Just have one concern...
What can I expect to happen to my weight if I do 3-4 times a week in this routine?
1 hour group classes - 5-10 warmup, 10 minutes of abs, practicing combinations 20-25 min, holding pads for partner while he practices 20 min. in between exercises throw in some pushups, burpees, etc.
30 min kettlebell training after.
I am currently 150lbs, 5"7. I eat like a beast (4 full meals a day) and supplement with whey. diet consists mostly alot of rice, veggies, chicken, pork, and fish.
My concern is that I will lose weight at this training level. I prefer to gain another 5-10 pounds or atleast stay at my current weight. Please provide some insight? What can I expect to happen? Much appreciated!
