So boring watching these pure kick boxers who are so petrified of the ground game that they just hang on the whole fight.

And Carmont doing that open fingers out 'guaging range' aka 'hoping to poke an eye' is just disgusting.

Lawlor. 30-27. Carmont can come back when he learns the whole game, not just one aspect.

Lawlor should take this IMO, he was busier and controlled the fight more. If Couture beat Vera than Lawlor beat Carmont. Plus he got more takedowns, although Carmont landed some nice kicks.

GTFO, whatever. I respect the Canadians for booing even though it was one of their own. Not many countries would do that. Shows me they know their MMA and aren't as biased with their fighters as others. Nuff respect

What a god awful decision. Lawlor got the takedowns and landed more punches to the face. Meanwhile Carmont landed some wicked hard kicks to Tom's arms. Why are we scoring kicks to the arms over punches to the face? Are these the same judges who scored the Ross Pearson-Edson Barboza fight?

.....oh wait..... backwards-ass decision favoring the hometown favorite? Yes. Yes they were.

He also controlled him on the cage. It wasn't a OMG robbery, but I thought under MMA judging criteria it was a sure win for Lawlor or at the very least a draw. BTW I am not a Lawlor fight fan (he's funny but thats about it) so this isn't coming from a biased point of view.

Sure. In that case, Lawlor took him down too. You know, if we're counting takedowns that don't end with a fighter holding a dominant position for a few seconds.

As for my own fighting career, my shortcomings haven't stemmed from my eyesight. I'm a very slight myope -- about -0.75 in each eye -- so as long as someone's within 15 feet I can see them crystal-clear.

What's your record again?
