This should make for a very entertaining fight. I think Maldonado will light Beltran up on the feet but Beltran will stand his ground for the whole three rounds and try to get his own offense going making for great action.
19-19 but Yamasaki blatantly cheated Beltran that round.
He knocked out Maldonado's mouthpiece and they reset him off the cage and he lost the rest of the round.
Maldonado is doing a good job though not being a dumbass and somehow doing this thing that a guy who somehow fought for a world title seems incapable of doing and circling away from the fence.
It was utterly predictable but I'm always interested to see how an utterly abysmal talent like Joey Beltran gameplans a victory.
He's easily the best worst fighter in the UFC and has been for a while.
Although in fairness to him his clinch work is getting better. His wrestling is still extremely subpar, he has no jitz to speak of and his striking is sloppy and laughable and he barely even closes his hands half the time yet here he is...arguably just won another decision in the UFC.
I don't know how they scored that fight for Maldonado. He could have won round 2 but thats it. Beltran should have gotten the W.
