getting confused

hey guys how ya doin?. well im getting confused here are some questions.(the first question is for my friend)

(a)is it true that if i am skinny and run on an empty stomach il burn muscle? and if yes what should i eat?

(b)i run just to get stamina but i will lose weight right? is there a way to run without losing weight?

(c)i heard that if i do weights my punches will get weaker i dont think its true what yous think?

(d)if i have big biceps and triceps will my punches get slower?

(e)(this one is for my friend too) well my friend asked me can i get muscles by doing pushups,situps and pullups?

sorry if i asked stupid question but please help me.il apreaciate any help thanks guys:)

a) Really depends on how far. You shouldn't run on an empty stomach but if you only run a mile or so it wont hurt too much.

b) Again really depends on how far and what you eat during the day. You will lose water weight as you sweat but you will only lose body weight if you run far/hard enough to burn those calories.

c) Punching power is more hip rotation than anything. Lifting weights certainly doesnt lower your power or all boxers would be featherweights.

d) Same as (c) really, as long as you keep hitting that speedbag/heavybag with proper form you will be fine.

e) To a certain degree yes. You can do clap/weighted pushups, weighted pullups and weighted situps. But eventually it will plateau. To add muscle you need to lift heavy things, eventually your body will adapt to your body weight and it will not grow any bigger unless you add more weight.

for question (b) how bout this 1hour before i run il eat some eggs and i drink some milk for proteins. is that enough because i usually run bout 3km. and by running will i only improve stamina or will i improve more things like speed? sorry again for the stupid questions and thanks for helping me i really apreaciate it thanks!:)

I'd go with some oatmeal and eggs. Or another form of whole grains. I'd ditch the milk before running or working out. Drink milk post-workout.

k thanks honra youre da best! and 2 last question. should i eat 1hr before workingout or more? 2nd. should i eat even before i do some situps and pushups. because everyday i do 200 situps and 100 pushups every 1 minute i do 20 situps and 10 pushups till i do 100 pushups and 200 situps but now im going to increase the ammount. thanks for all youre help.

i know doing 100pushups in 10 sets is alittle but after a day training i get tired
